Confidentiality

How CC Coach protects the information clients share before, during and after coaching.

1. Our commitment

CC Coach treats confidentiality as the foundation of effective career coaching. This statement explains how CC Coach, part of Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238) and the wider CAQA Groups family, protects the personal and professional information that clients share before, during and after coaching engagements, and the limited circumstances in which information may be disclosed.

2. Who this statement covers

This statement applies to individual clients who book coaching, mentoring or interview-preparation services directly, and to participants in programs sponsored by an employer or organisation, such as graduate cohorts, team coaching and outplacement support. It works alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how personal information collected through this website is handled.

3. What we keep confidential

Everything of substance you share in a coaching relationship is treated as confidential. This includes what is discussed in sessions, your career history and goals, resumes and application documents you provide, interview rehearsal recordings made with your agreement, preparation notes, feedback and any personal circumstances you choose to disclose. Coaches do not discuss identifiable client matters with anyone outside the engagement except as described below.

4. Coaching notes and records

Coaches keep brief working notes so that sessions build on each other. Notes, documents and recordings are stored securely, accessed only by the people who need them to deliver your engagement, and retained and disposed of in line with our Privacy Policy. You may ask what records we hold about you and request access to them using the contact details below.

5. Employer-sponsored coaching

Where an organisation pays for your coaching, we are clear with everyone about what is shared. The sponsoring organisation may receive confirmation of attendance, progress against the agreed program outline and program-level themes agreed at the outset. The content of your sessions, your personal disclosures and your career intentions are not reported to the sponsor unless you give your express consent. If a sponsor asks for more than the agreed reporting, we will tell you.

6. Limits of confidentiality

Confidentiality has limits that we want you to understand before coaching begins. We may disclose information where you consent to the disclosure; where disclosure is required or authorised by law, including by a court, tribunal or regulator; or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent a serious and imminent threat to the life, health or safety of any person. Wherever lawful and practicable, we will tell you before information is disclosed and limit the disclosure to what is required.

7. Testimonials and case studies

We only publish testimonials, success stories or case studies with the client's express written permission, and we de-identify material wherever the client prefers. Declining to be featured never affects the service you receive.

8. Information collected through this website

This website collects the information you choose to submit, such as enquiry form details, newsletter subscriptions and email correspondence, together with standard website analytics. This website does not take payments online; fees are arranged directly with us. All personal information collected here is handled under our Privacy Policy, and enquiries are only seen by the team members who respond to them.

9. Your part in confidentiality

Where coaching takes place in group formats, such as team programs or cohort workshops, we ask every participant to respect the confidentiality of what others share. Your coach will set these expectations at the start of any group program.

10. Contact

To ask about confidentiality, request access to your records or raise a concern about how information has been handled, contact info@caqa.com.au, phone 1800 266 160, or use the contact page. If you are not satisfied with our response, our Privacy Policy explains how to escalate a complaint.
